Privacy
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and name, plus an optional profile (photo, bio, links).
- Product data: the listings you submit, including texts, images and links.
- Activity: your votes and your comments.
- Website clicks: when you open a product's website from VoteWeek, we record the click together with a hashed version of your IP address. We do not store the raw address for this purpose.
- Orders: what you bought, the amount and the status. Card details never reach our servers.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a NEXT_LOCALE cookie to remember your language. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Third parties
- Google sign-in is optional. If you use it, Google shares your email and name with us.
- Stripe processes card payments.
- An email provider sends sign-in codes and notifications.
- An AI provider helps draft listing text and translations. Only the public text of the product's website is sent, nothing from your account.
How long we keep data
We keep account and listing data as long as your account exists. Votes and click records are kept so past rankings stay correct. Order records are kept as long as the law requires for accounting. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal data.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to — and we will answer promptly. If you are in the EU or EEA, the GDPR gives you these rights. If you are in Turkey, the KVKK gives you similar rights, including the right to object. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Advertising and cookies
VoteWeek shows advertising to keep launching free. We work with Google AdSense, a third-party ad network. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure them. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown; you can change your choice at any time from the link in the footer. You can also opt out of personalised advertising at Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) or at aboutads.info. We do not show ads on sign-in, dashboard or admin pages.
Cookies we set ourselves: a session cookie (sign-in), a language preference (NEXT_LOCALE), a theme preference and the cookie notice state. These are necessary for the service and are not used for advertising.
